The Times They Are A-changing.

D-House by Dyloan IN COLLABORATION WITH Tintoria Emiliana

Synopsis

Italian manufacturing and sustainability are the driving elements of this synergistic presentation. The scene in its representation must declare the conscious production capacity, where the style is generated by a desire to create garments and accessories that ennoble an origin born from nature. The Italian manufacturing gesture in its concrete participation reveals an authentic exhibition complicity. The baton passes like a relay from the thread, to the fabric, to the packaging and customization, culminating in the color that the nature of the plants and lands generates in its chromatic essence.

DAYTODAY
Made in Tintoria Emiliana

Dyeing today represents the value that determines its sustainability.

“Dye today: nature has chosen her colors for fashion” is the analysis and research through the selection of dyeing plants and earths to generate natural dyes applied on sustainable wools capable of transferring the traceability of the production chain, indicating a color chart where the origins and dyeing properties with their history create a conscious elegance.

THE TRUNKS/CHEST

DYEING PLANTS AND NATURAL LANDS
The colors of rebirth, courage, immortality and the present.

1) Pomegranate, the color of rebirth, Robbia with the colors of courage, Acacia Catechu with the colors of immortality and finally Camping, with the colors of the present. A quartet of dyeing plants from which a palette of eleven natural colors arises to dye fine Lane Cardate yarns for their absolute sustainability. A transparent and traceable supply chain, destined to surprise. The challenge is cultural and technical, but the results are such that their “solidity” is also included in the information sheet for each color, a true test for natural colors. The research of the Tintoria Emiliana Integrated Laboratory was conducted with Valentina Ferrarini, plant-based biotechnologist from Officina del colore naturale.

2) A chromatic range that creates the possibility of ranging between different color levels with the sobriety and calmness typical of earthy shades. The immortality of the earth testifies that the brightness and intensity of some ochers are unattainable by other synthetic pigments, as are transparencies and shades. Tessuti di Sondrio and Tintoria Emiliana have conceived a capsule, enclosed in a chest/wardrobe trunk capable of transferring with the noble packaging of the Manifattura Lombardelli a new concept of responsible elegance, daughter of nature.

3
) A collaboration created to unite three complementary realities.
The project was born to create sweaters in pure organic cotton and precious cashmere/cotton, ennobled with a great classic, the frosted treatment.
A capsule where natural earths and pigments from earths and oxides create a chromatic range that transfers the possibility of ranging between different color levels with the sobriety and calmness typical of earthy shades.
Eight dyeing clays from which a palette of eight natural colors arises to dye fine yarns by IAFIL for their absolute sustainability with the packaging of the Skytex knitwear factory and the natural dye of Tintoria Emiliana. “It is a project that intends to enhance the natural dyes produced through in-depth research on dyeing earths, starting from the ancient use and the symbolism that represents them”.

Telling the story of UPCYCLING and the KNOW-HOW OF ITALIAN MANUFACTURING

(D-refashion lab the project that proposes to intervene on overstock (clothing, accessories, fabrics) through the creative application of the most advanced technologies)
Through D-house technologies and collaboration with fashion designers, interior designers, artists and creatives, the company offers 4 different types of “customization packages” and, thanks to the graphic team, the D-refashion lab project offers the possibility to see, in digital preview, the different customization possibilities. This method allows us to reduce material waste and set up a more conscious production line, to contribute to a different perception of technological and artisanal work and to suggest new models of consumption. Together with its partners, D-house is committed to finding the best eco-compatible solutions for customization and continues to search for new possibilities.
