TINTORIA EMILIANA

Integrated Laboratory

Chemical/instrumental analyzes to intervene precisely on the production chain and safeguard your business.

The mission of the laboratory is to create a collaborative synergy with the customer to share the various phases that determine the development and research of every analytical and procedural aspect of the garment.
The Integrated Chemical Laboratory correlates advanced chemical/instrumental analyzes to the production process phases through consolidated procedures and the drafting of scientific reports, with the aim of understanding the various problems found in the processes involving a garment or accessory of clothing (spinning-making-dyeing-finishing, etc.). The aim of each analytical investigation is to be able to identify any type of defect or anomaly, determining the best solution in order to understand the problem in both chemical and procedural terms and therefore find a specific solution.
These investigations are integrated with quality control which includes complete color fastness tests in all the different finishing treatments carried out by Tintoria Emiliana and also physical/mechanical tests of the durability and resistance of the materials to all types of stress.
These scientific analysis services applied as a real study and in-depth analysis of the problem allow the customer to intervene precisely on the production chain, preventing errors to safeguard their business.
The solutions are the set of physical and chemical/instrumental analyzes of the Tintoria Emiliana laboratory which, through the use of various cutting-edge analytical instruments together with consolidated knowledge in the textile sector and textile processes, guarantees the customer maximum definition of the problem and an answer that is as exhaustive as possible with respect to each specific case study.

Chemical analysis / Instrumentation

Differential Scanning Calorimetry is a thermal analysis technique that can be used to characterize many types of materials, in our case especially polymeric materials (artificial and synthetic fibres, plastics, adhesives, coatings, resins, etc…). In-depth study of the thermal behavior and chemical/physical characteristics of polymeric materials.

Chemical characterization of materials and all types of fibres, of any chemical modifications and/or degradation undergone. Analysis of any foreign substances present and of the changes undergone by the textile substrate.

Chemical characterization of materials and all types of fibres, chemical mapping of surfaces, high detection sensitivity.
Chemical characterization of polymeric materials even in aqueous solution and of dyes, identification of coloring classes, high detection sensitivity.
Characterization of coloring solutions before and after dyeing process, concentration curves.

Morphological characterization of surfaces, magnifications up to 20000/30000x, possibility of performing surface mapping. Image analysis of degradation and surface conditions.

Elementary analysis for chemical characterization of materials: relative % of the chemical elements present, possibility of performing elemental analysis in % of oxides present, mapping of the elements present.

Image analysis in natural light.
