The TINTORIA EMILIANA company has its origins in the post-war period, when Mr. Remo Martinelli began to recover old and worn garments to bring them back to life through the garment dyeing process. From old garments to berets, to jackets, to military uniforms. The work continues thanks to the commitment of his daughter Giovanna and his two sisters Pia and Isolina and the current TINTORIA EMILIANA was established in 1985, transformed from a general partnership to a limited liability company in 1988. The company originally had its headquarters in Modena, in Via Benassi n. 30. To minimize the environmental impact of fabric dyeing and finishing operations and to guarantee workers a healthier working environment, in 1989 the registered office was moved to Viale Delle Nazioni n. 75, where the current wastewater purification plant is built.
Subsequently, in the nineties, the Martinelli sisters chose different paths and TINTORIA EMILIANA remained in the hands of Mrs Giovanna Martinelli and her husband Giuseppe Lodi who continued to work hard to keep the company solid and always present on the market.
Mrs. Giovanna Martinelli is still the President of the Board of Directors of the company despite having passed down her experience to her four children, Roberto, production manager, Stefano, marketing manager, Paolo, research and development manager and Liliana Lodi, logistics manager. acquired.
The ownership of the company is currently in the hands of the four Lodi brothers in equal parts and the administration is delegated to the board of directors which has Mrs. Giovanna Martinelli as President, Roberto Lodi as Vice President and directors Paolo and Liliana Lodi.
Currently TINTORIA EMILIANA is a constantly evolving reality and always ready to incorporate current trends and interpret and create new expressions of color.
The company makes use of research, development and quality control laboratories with which the various dyeing processes are experimented. Paying specific attention to the needs of each individual customer, Tintoria Emiliana is a reliable partner that makes its skills available in all processing phases, from the idea to the search for the most suitable answers, from the development of the samples to the actual production .

The company boasts the registration in its name of some important patents such as the Flash process, an innovative garment printing process which gives the opportunity to simultaneously imprint the image on the front and back of the garment, making it continuous on each part at 360 degrees, obtaining color shades of a precision impossible to obtain with any other technique.
There are many collaborations established with important Italian and European fashion companies which have allowed Tintoria Emiliana to consolidate its experience in the field of high-end informal clothing.
